This section of my website is about my experiences with gardening, with an emphasis on using native plants. It will be a dynamic site, that I add to along the way. I will show you my garden, talk about my concept of garden art, introduce you to native plants for the North Florida area, and particularly describe how we can Bring Nature Home here in North Florida.

My garden is where I discovered my creative side. I did not plan it, I let evolve over time, with the resolution not to make it a chore, but a choice; consequently there have been times when it has been a really big mess, during the 30 years or so that it has developed! It has been my teacher, in many ways. I have interacted with it in a more intuitive sense, seeing where it has taken me, which has turned out to be pathways, and discovery of plants and color, whimsy, and the pleasure of connecting with the earth. And I have been pleased to also discover how the love of a garden nurtures the connections between we who walk in them. Come join me there in these pages.
